Under the shadow of the Barclaycard Arena (used to be called the National Indoor Arena), and by the Fiddle and Bone.
The towpaths are heavily used, but this is an excellent place to stay and see Birmingham.

About twice a year they are shut for the floating market.
There are boaters facilities at the Fiddle and Bone – pump out, diesel, coal, gas and some chandlery. (Fiddle and Bone is just out of sight on the photo alongside.)
The facilities are run by Sherborne Wharf, without any connection to the pub, which is currently shut.
During the winter the facilities are often unmanned – when this is the case there is a phone 0121 454 5367.
Away2Service provide pump out, diesel, coal, gas and some chandlery in Central Birmingham.
This is a mobile service – ring 0845 644 5344 and they will come to you.
Though not on the main line, the facilities at Cambrian Wharf are only a few hundred yards away on the Birmingham & Fazeley.
