DESCRIPTION:The Society will be holding a workshop at Titford Pumphouse on Saturday 31st October 2026\n\nThe Pumphouse is in Engine Street (off Tat Bank Rd) in Oldbury B69 4NL. It is a 10 minute walk from Langley Green Station served by West Midland Railway services.\n\nStart time 11.15 and will finish at 16.30. The room will be open from 10.45.\nThe intended theme is to reflect on the BCN post nationalisation in 1948 \nSpeakers for the event have now been finalised. SUMMARY:BCLM Boaters Gathering – 3rd-4th October 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Historic Narrowboat Club (HNBC) have announced plans for a Boaters Gathering to be held on the Black Country Living Museum Site. \nThe event is scheduled for the weekend of 3rd – 4th October 2026. \nAs in previous years\, unconverted boats in appropriate livery will be moored in the Museum Arm. Other historic boats will be accommodated outside the arm within the CRT gates\, and the visitor moorings will remain open to modern boats. \nEntries are now open and early booking is strongly recommended – spaces are limited to 40 boats and last year we received over 60 applications.
