Wiggins Hill Bridge

There are moorings either side of Wiggins Hill Bridge.

Those on the south west side of the bridge (the Birmingham side) are on the offside, where it looks as if BW used to load and unload lock gates.
Of the two moorings this had my preference, though this was simply because it is a little more out of the way.  I do not think that I would have left my boat here unattended for more than a few hours.

Recently things have changed, and there is now the Cuttle Bridge Inn on the North East side of the bridge.

Though I have not stayed here since it opened, it has been reported that this is a decent place to stay, which was not the case when it was a derelict pub.

There are no boaters facilities here.

  1. Moored here by the Cuttle Bridge Hotel last Saturday along with several other boats. Very friendly staff and no problems.
