Pelsall Common (one of prettiest locations on the BCN) – depth is best adjacent to the “Finger Post”, though dredging in 2013 has improved the situation somewhat.

  1. There’s an offside mooring in Wednesfield, right next to the black and white footbridge, that has no pedestrian access. Mooring rings, about 100ft long.

    • Also, while it’s slightly noisier, Bentley bridge, in the arm stub, is quite secure. There are security guards on the retail park and also often police as the MacDonald’s is 24 hours. Mooring rings.

  2. Sneyd Wharf seems to only have a water point mooring. I did stay overnight but on a residential mooring as it was late in the day. There was a work boat moored but no sign for visitors.
    Its a lovely location.
