The Historic Narrowboat Club (HNBC) have announced plans for a Boaters Gathering to be held on the Black Country Living Museum Site.
The event is scheduled for the weekend of 3rd – 4th October 2026.
As in previous years, unconverted boats in appropriate livery will be moored in the Museum Arm. Other historic boats will be accommodated outside the arm within the CRT gates, and the visitor moorings will remain open to modern boats.
Entries are now open and early booking is strongly recommended – spaces are limited to 40 boats and last year we received over 60 applications. The online booking form is on the Club events calendar on the website https://hnbc.org.uk/events/hnbc-gathering-bclm
