
The Society will be holding a workshop at Titford Pumphouse on Saturday 18th April 2026
The Pumphouse is in Engine Street (off Tat Bank Rd) in Oldbury B69 4NL. It is a 10 minute walk from Langley Green Station served by West Midland Railway services.
Start time 11.15 and will finish at 16.30. The room will be open from 10.45.
There will be four speakers:-
Martin O’Keeffe will talk about Peter and Ken Keay boatbuilders
Ray Shill is discussing Samuel Simcox and Samuel Garbett
Joseph Boughey will talk about the establishment of the Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port
Phil Wild will give an introduction to the BCN Society archive and its collections
Time will be available for questions and discussion.
Tea and coffee will be provided, but attendees should bring their own lunch.
There will be no charge for this event.
