The Society has announced a Work Party Programme for 2026/27.
All dates are for Work parties to be held on the second Saturday in each Calendar month.
The schedule is:-
Saturday 10th October 2026 – Work party at Stourbridge for pre Rally Clean Up.
Saturday 14th November 2026 – Dunkirk Toll Island and Groveland/Tividale Aqueduct.
Saturday 12th December 2026 – Smethwick Toll Island and offside channel vegetation cut back.
Saturday 9th January 2027 – Bromford Stop Toll Island.
Saturday 13th February 2027 – Engine Arm offside Vegetation.
Saturday 13th March 2027 – Likely to be the BCN Society Icicle Cruise.
All events begin at Titford Pumphouse leaving at around 8:30 am and returning mid afternoon.
The Work Party organisers would welcome any new recruits.
Appropriate training and familiarisation will be provided.
Life Jackets must be worn for all water side activity and a life jacket will be provided where necessary.
Attendees should wear appropriate clothing and stout footwear and also bring with them a packed lunch.
Please note that the site venue might change depending on the circumstances at the time, but the starting point will usually be from Titford Pumphouse.
