Find some decent beer! – CAMRA’s new online pub guide

While not strictly (or even slightly) BCN info, if you are out on your boat and want to find a decent beer, try
Whatpub.com, launched by CAMRA today.

It provides a fair description of the two good pubs that I have looked up.  (The Prince of Wales by Cambrian Wharf and the Olde Swan at Netherton)

The rest of this entry is cut and pasted from their publicity email.

Whatpub.com can now be enjoyed by everyone. It is dedicated to helping the public find the best pubs to suit their needs across Britain. Following a two year project by thousands of CAMRA volunteers, whatpub.com features 47,000 pubs, around 36,000 of which serve real ale – making the site the most definitive online guide to real ale in the UK.

Whatpub.com, which has been designed to automatically optimise for use on laptops, tablets and mobile devices, offers over 30 different search fields ranging from dog friendly pubs to those that offer newspapers or live music. Over 22,000 of the entries include details of the real ales being served – taking the guess work out of a visit for real ale lovers.
