A BCNS Work Party is scheduled for Saturday the 9th November 2024.
UPDATED VENUE
CRT continue to undertake work on Oldbury Locks and thus our work boat remains at Withymoor Island. On Saturday 9th we will assist our friends at Withymoor with a scrub bash and clean up of the Island. They have been very generous in accommodating us whilst the Pump House remains inaccessible (by boat) and this is a worthwhile way of showing our gratitude.
The Work Party organisers, Mike Rolfe and Michael Smith-Keary would welcome any new recruits.

The original proposed outing to Smethwick will be rearranged for the 2025 Work Programme
The planned work will involve clearance work on the site of the former Smethwick Coal Chutes
Workboats will leave Titford Pumphouse at around 9:00 am and return mid-afternoon.
Please note that the site venue might change depending on the circumstances at the time, but the starting point will remain at Titford Pumphouse.
