The Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal Society (SWCS) is thrilled to announce the return of their Annual Rally of Boats to the iconic Bratch Locks in Wombourne, on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August 2025, from 10am to 5pm each day.
Now a much-anticipated event, the Rally is a vibrant celebration of our canal heritage, paying tribute to the 250+ years of the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal, which remains a treasured part of our local and national history.
What’s On: Event Highlights
Visitors to the Rally can enjoy a wide range of free activities and attractions, including:
- Explore Historic Working Boats and meet their custodians.
- Visit the SWCS stall and learn about the Society’s efforts in preserving the canal’s heritage.
- Tour the Bratch Locks, with live demonstrations and insights from Canal & River Trust staff and volunteers.
- Browse floating traders and craft stalls offering unique items.
- Meet canal societies and heritage groups championing Britain’s waterways.
- Food stalls and ice cream, with facilities available.
